The Deep-sea Extreme Environment Pilot (DEEP) game was built for the purpose of spreading interest in the world’s oceans, with a specific focus on deep-ocean environments. It is designed to be a stand-alone exhibit in aquariums, museums, informal learning centers, and also built to be modular enough for use in undergraduate classrooms to enhance student’s understanding of ocean observatory systems.

  The intended use of DEEP is to introduce players to the thrill of scientific discovery.
